Privacy policy
Updated October 4, 2026
This policy describes what Drune stores about you and what other people can see. Callers of a Drune receive guidance for a task. They do not receive your files.
Account
When you create an account we store your name and email. If you use a password, we store a hash of it, not the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we store the identifier Google gives us for that sign-in.
A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is sent only to Drune and expires when the session ends or you sign out.
Profile
You can add a photo, headline, short bio, location, skills, and a resume-style history. If you publish a Drune to the directory, your name, photo, and headline can be shown with it. The rest of the profile stays on your account unless you choose to show it.
Drunes you create
We store the name, purpose, sources, and the profile built from them, including documents, code, recordings, links, examples, and your corrections. Each creator's material is kept separate from other creators.
We use that material to run the Drune: to draft what it learned, to test it, and to produce guidance when an authorized caller asks. We do not use one creator's material to train another creator's Drune.
What a caller receives
An authorized call returns guidance written for that task. The caller does not receive your source documents, recordings, or code, the stored profile, embeddings, the instructions that run the Drune, or your test and correction history.
People you have shared with, or who hold a license, are callers of that kind. They are not given a copy of the Drune.
Use records
Each call is recorded with the caller, the tool, the Drune version, the time, and usage such as tokens and credits. The text of the task is not stored as the task itself. A hash is kept so repeat calls can be recognized.
Creators can see usage of their own Drunes. You can see usage made with your account.
Issue reports
If you report an issue, we store what you wrote, where you said it happened, and the account it came from, so we can look into it.
Model provider
Producing guidance sends the relevant slice of a Drune, and the task, to the model service we use. That service returns the guidance. It is not a way for a caller to download your files.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not give your Drune's source material to other customers.
How long we keep it
We keep account and Drune data while the account and the Drune exist. Use records and issue reports are kept so the product can show history and so we can investigate a report.
To ask for a copy of your account data, or for deletion, use Report an issue in the app while signed in to that account.
Changes
We can update this policy. The date at the top will change.
The rules for using Drune are in the Terms and conditions.
